Brendan's bio


Brendan’s parents were in the travel business so he moved around a lot. Born in Canada his last extended city of choice was Seattle where he worked in an exclusive hotel making equally exclusive chocolates.

Brendan is an easy going fun loving guy who despite these good qualities has not made or kept an ongoing relationship. This is due to his frequent moves and also the hours he keeps as a confectionery chef.

Brendan decided to move to New Orleans for three reasons. One, he was becoming bored of the stifling regimen of working in a very expensive hotel. Two, he developed an interest in praline making and wanted to specialise in this area for a while. And three he wanted to live somewhere where there was fun to be had and New Orleans sounded like the place.

Apart from cooking Brendan loves to go out with his old Polaroid and take photos. He loves the immediacy of this art form, and also can't afford a digital camera!
